Itinerary : Pick up time 8.30 a.m. You will travel through the mountainous landscape arriving at the dramatic Bimmah Sinkhole. Your tour will allow time for you to swim in the clear sparkling waters. Once you are refreshed you will depart to drive south toward the direction of Quriyat Region. Wadi is possibly the most spectacular wadi in Oman. You have to witness it to believe the captivating beauty of the area. Upon arrival at Wadi Shab you will transfer to a small fishing boat to be taken across the wadi to enable you to start your journey. The word breathtaking hardly does it justice. You will walk through the amazing canyon, until you arrive at the wadi which leads to the Keyhole. Here you can relax; take a dip in the pools. You will have the opportunity to swim through a pool of crystal clear water and dive through a narrow keyhole, inside you will find a magnificent cave, complete with an incredible waterfall. After a lunch in Wadi Bani Khaled we drive to Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve. You will then have time to relax at the hotel. Dinner is at 8.00 p.m. after which you will meet up with a guide who will take you out to the beach to search for turtles. Whilst we are very successful in sighting turtles, there are no guarantees. You will finish this and return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Itinerary : After breakfast You will depart from Muscat toward to the golden sands of the Wahiba Desert. The great Wahiba Sands are located in dunes 200 km long and 100 km wide running south from the Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea. You will experience dune bashing on the golden sand dunes and visit the local bedouin house for Omani Coffee, camel rides will be available. You will then proceed to your next stop, Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. The wadi has clear deep blue water and counts among the few wadis of Oman that holds water all year round. From the mountain springs, the water is led to the oasis where it sustains the date palms. The pretty villages of Wadi Bani Khalid cling precariously to the rugged mountainside. After a lunch in Wadi Bani Khalid You will then travel back to Muscat arriving approximately at 5.00 p.m.
