Itinerary : Pick up 8.30 a.m. You will depart your hotel and proceed to Wadi Al Arbaieen. After travelling just a few kilometers you will find yourselves absorbed in an almost lunar world where unreal mountains dominate the view. Heading off road we will proceed to the Wadi Al Arbaieen, a stupendous canyon with tall mountainous walls covered with lush vegetation, where the course of the water has created little green-blue ponds and swimming pools. Here you will have the opportunity to take endless photos, to visit a typical Omani village where the rhythm of a simple daily life has remained uninfluenced by modern ways. After lunch you will continue your journey to Wahiba Sands. In the heart of the golden sands of Sharqiyah Desert nestled among stunning and ever changing patterns of sand dunes, is the Arabian Oryx Camp. Here you will find a luxurious Bedouin style air conditioned tent with a private bathroom, also offering a selection of free luxury toiletries. After settling into the camp you will be offered the amazing experience of dune bashing, here your driver will show you his sand dune-driving skills with an adrenaline-fueled 4WD safari across 150-metre dunes with a spectacular view of the sunset. Followed by delicious Arabic cuisine along with live entertainment whilst you sit under a starry sky around a camp fire this truly is a once in a lifetime experience.
Itinerary : After breakfast You will depart from Muscat toward to the golden sands of the Wahiba Desert. The great Wahiba Sands are located in dunes 200 km long and 100 km wide running south from the Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea. You will experience dune bashing on the golden sand dunes and visit the local bedouin house for Omani Coffee, camel rides will be available. You will then proceed to your next stop, Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. The wadi has clear deep blue water and counts among the few wadis of Oman that holds water all year round. From the mountain springs, the water is led to the oasis where it sustains the date palms. The pretty villages of Wadi Bani Khalid cling precariously to the rugged mountainside. After a lunch in Wadi Bani Khaled You will then travel back to Muscat arriving approximately at 4.30 p.m.
